2" Rox risers went on mine before I ever brought her home. They are one of those "must have" farkles.

Agreed. It was the first add on for my "new to me" Tiger.

 

Yep, I like them. I put them on in the cooler months when I install the higher windshield. In summer, I like to zip around and pretend I am on a Street Triple.

 

How high can you go?

I recently upgraded to the 800xc from a KLR650. I am not enjoying the bent over riding style. I installed the ROX 2" risers. Now it feels like its almost where I want it. Has anyone tried adding additional risers to get just a little more? Are there safety or structural concerns to worry about?

 

Cable length?

There's no problem with taller risers as long as your cables are long enough. Rox also makes 3" & 4" risers. I'm personally not a big fan of adding risers on top of risers though. Lots of people do it, but I'd rather have it one piece...

 

Anybody used the 2 1/4" anti-vibration Rox risers? I installed the 1 3/4" Rox but not quite high enough standing to be at my best so I'm looking at the 2 1/4", plus the anti-vibration would help reduce the handlebar vibrations?

I have the anti-vibe risers with additional inch spacers combined. The extra inch made a huge difference. Did not like the mushy steering feel of the rubber mount. Saw the Rox guys at their booth at the BMWMOA Rally and talked to them about it. I was told to crank down the screws to stiffen the feel. Made a big difference.

 

I installed the 2" versions (IIRC) and it's a great product.

 

Nope. I could have easily put 1/2" - 1" taller ones on with no problem.
That said a couple of posts on the T-E forum were complaints about tight cables with the 2". Go figure...
